Moral of the story: Never let your children wallpaper their walls with poster held up with thumb tacks.
I totally forgot that for years, whenever I was done with a piece of gum, I would stick it to the back of my headboard. What a gross teenager I was. Ew.
Thankfully, I’m getting a new bed soon.
I don’t think I’ve ever encountered that much dust in my entire life
You know how in mop/vacuum/swiffer commercials they always show a clear shiny line where the mop/vacuum/swiffer just cut through? That happened when I was vacuuming the dust under my bed. That’s how much there was. It came out in clumps. Those weren’t dust bunnies, they were dust raccoons or foxes or baby deer or something.
Either way, I found a few things I thought I had lost and was very upset about and I think I’m ready to actually prime my room tomorrow! (after another round of meticulous dusting all the places the vacuum didn’t reach, of course)

You guys… I’m literally done cleaning/organizing. I just need to vacuum tonight so we can prep my walls to be painted tomorrow! This is exciting! For those of you that have never seen my room, it’s been messy basically ever since I first moved in. 13 years and it’s never been re-done. Well, now it is. And I’m excited.
You should follow extreme-schwagg-makeover for more updates and to see pictures of what it looked like/how messy it was before. (You don’t actually care, so you don’t have to pretend like you do, It’s cool.)
It’s about to get real serious up in this bitch.
Now I just need to get off of the computer and get the vacuum.
These pictures do not even do justice to how clean my room actually is right now.
Off to Target to get some more organizational things (i.e. for those purses just sorta hanging out in a clump by my desk, etc.) and then sweeping/vacuuming and hopefully spackling and priming tomorrow!
